2025 NFL drаft: Jetѕ һoѕt potentіаl fіrѕt rounder Joѕһ Conerly Jr. for formаl meetіng

We know of at least one potential first-round prospect on the New York Jets' radar ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.

According to KPRC2-TV NFL insider Aaron Wilson, Oregon offensive lineman Josh Conerly Jr. has had a formal pre-draft visit in New York:

Conerly, a junior, is a 6-foot-5, 311-pound offensive tackle. Pro Football Focus handed Conerly a 78.3 overall mark for his efforts in 14 games played last season.

The Draft Network has concerns about Conerly's run-blocking abilities, however, his pass protection is praised. The outlet considers him a first-round selection at the upcoming draft.

Tackle is a need for the Jets on the offensive line despite selecting Olu Fashanu in the first round at last year's draft. Veterans Morgan Moses and Tyron Smith are no longer on New York's roster following free agency.

Entering the draft, the Jets hold the No. 7 overall selection. Conerly's draft stock sits lower than that, closer to a late Round 1 pick or even an early second rounder. ESPN has Cornerly ranked No. 37 overall on the outlet's big board. He could be on New York's radar if the team trades back as well as at the seventh spot.

Jets Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 offseason.
