3 lаndіng ѕpotѕ for Aаron Rodgerѕ аfter Jetѕ ѕplіt wіtһ tһe QB

It’s still unclear if Aaron Rodgers will play in the NFL in 2025 at all.

But we do know it won’t be with the New York Jets.

The team has decided to move on from him after just one full season with him due to injury. New head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey will get a clean slate to rebuild the team.

The 41-year-old could opt to retire from football. Despite struggles in New York, Rodgers did play better in the latter half of last season and there could be suitors for his services for at least one more year.

Here are three teams that could eventually sign Rodgers this offseason:

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers should probably be Rodgers’ No. 1 destination. Pittsburgh was a playoff team in 2024 with veteran Russell Wilson under center.

But Wilson and fellow Steelers QB Justin Fields are both set to hit free agency and Pittsburgh will reportedly move on from Wilson.

The Steelers and coach Mike Tomlin have managed to make it work with many quarterbacks over the years. That will appeal to Rodgers and the Steelers are the favorite to land him.

New York Giants

The Giants won’t be a team that sticks out to football fans… or Rodgers. But it could be a match.

Their front office with coach Brian Daboll needs to have a better 2025 season. They are on the hot seat.

And let’s be honest: Rodgers won’t have to move. He can stay in New York if he goes to the Giants.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders have long been known to make flashy (and risky) moves. Rodgers would be exactly that.

Despite team owner Mark Davis wanting a long-term solution, Las Vegas did just hire Pete Carroll as head coach. He’s not exactly a spring chicken and will want to win right away.
