Liam might hit his limit with Bill on The Bold and the Beautiful. He is grateful to his father for helping save his life. But Bill can’t take all the credit. All he did was pay Dr. Grace Buckingham the one million dollars. But once Liam finds the truth behind his miraculous cure, he might see his father differently.
According to B&B fans, Bill (Don Diamont) has already hit three strikes with Liam (Scott Clifton). One fan outlined each of the strikes on one soap message board. The first strike was when Bill got Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) out of prison, despite her attempted murder of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan).
Bill put not only their family in danger but also Liam’s daughter. Then, Bill released Luna (Lisa Yamada) from jail and kept her under house arrest at the Spencer estate. That went horribly wrong since she shot his son and her grandmother.

What’s the third strike? The costly surgery that saved Liam’s life. Bill paid Grace (Cassandra Creech) one million dollars to save his son’s life without blinking an eye or asking questions about this experimental procedure. He didn’t get a second opinion, nor did he do his own research.
Bill also didn’t do a background check on the surgeons and doctors involved, even though he could with his wealth and resources. The original poster concluded, “For being a multi-millionaire and owner of numerous magazines, he’s the dumbest man on earth.” Other fans argued that Bill is not a self-made billionaire, since he inherited his father’s media company.
What Will Liam Think?
Meanwhile, other fans think that Grace scammed Bill out of money. She looked guilty after she received the payment. It’s possible that Liam wasn’t dying from a tumor, or it’s possible that he’s still dying from an inoperable tumor, which is why she felt guilty after Bill expressed his gratitude.
However, some fans argued that Bill shouldn’t be to blame for what Grace said about Liam’s health. She was the one who discovered that he had a brain tumor that was inoperable, with no hope of survival. Bill was given the option of saving his son’s life.

“I agree. Bill has really been on a roll. I just hope Liam will be no worse for the wear for his latest lack of judgement,” one fan speculated. Will this procedure have risks and complications? What if the recovery process isn’t easy for Liam? It’s possible that it won’t be Liam who will be angry.
It could be Bill once he finds out about Grace’s scheme. “A million dollars is really nothing to Bill – he’s going to care much more about the months of suffering Grace put his son thru I think,” one fan noted.
