The Atlanta Falcons had 4 former all-pro players make ESPN's All Quarter Century Team recently.
The list will include former Falcons receiver Julio Jones, tight end Tony Gonzalez, defensive lineman Calais Campbell, and return specialist Devin Hester.
Julio Jones had 914 receptions, 13,703 receiving yards, and 66 total touchdowns for his career. He is a seven-time Pro Bowler, two-time 1st-team All-Pro, and three-time 2nd-team All-Pro. Jones is the fastest player in NFL history to 10,000 yards.
Jones had 12,896 yards receiving within his first 10 seasons in the NFL, second only to Jerry Rice. He also had three games during his career with at least 250 yards in a single game. Out of all active players today, only three have that many combined. Julio Jones was among the best wide receivers ever to play the game.
After 12 years with the Kansas City Chiefs, Tony Gonzalez would join the Falcons and make four Pro Bowls before retiring during his 5th season with the team. His 15,127 yards are the 6th most in NFL history, and the most by any tight end by more than 2,000 yards. His 111 touchdowns are the second-most by a tight end in NFL history and the eighth-most by any player.
His 4,187 yards and 35 touchdowns rank in the Falcons' top 10 in franchise history.
Having only spent one year in Atlanta, Calais Campbell led the team in sacks during the 2023-2024 season with 6.5. While with Atlanta, he hit the milestone of 100 sacks for his career, and earned 110.5 sacks, 18 forced fumbles, and six Pro Bowls for his entire career.
Devin Hester only spent two seasons in Atlanta, but was a Pro Bowler in 2014. His 14 punt return touchdowns are the most by any player in NFL history. Hester was the first return specialist to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He will forever be remembered for his kick return score in the Super Bowl. Still, in Atlanta, he will forever be etched in history for his return against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to pass Deion Sanders to become the all-time return touchdown leader.
