49ers' George Kittle Trade Report Earns Blunt 1-Word Response

George Kittle is one of the best tight ends of this generation, and he understandably wants to be payed that way.

But he also wants to keep the record set straight as he works through the process of getting a new contract.

In a recent report by The Athletic's Michael Silver, he says that Kittle and the San Francisco 49ers are not on the same page when it comes to the superstar tight end's new contract.

Wild George Kittle And The Titans

"Kittle, heading into the final year of a five-year, $75-million deal, is much more of a longshot, as he and the 49ers remain far apart in discussions about a new deal," Silver wrote of the tight end reporting to the team this week.

And indeed, Kittle was absent from this week's start of voluntary workouts ...

Which has triggered trade rumors around the NFL.

"Rumors'' are one thing; "reports'' are another.

Kittle has already lashed out at The Athletic's Dianna Russini, apparently over her report that the star tight end, 31 - who finished the 2024 season with 1,106 receiving yards and eight touchdowns - is demanding to be the highest-paid tight end ever.

But he's also calling out a goofy rumors site on Twitter that is "reporting'' that it "would be a dream scenario for Kittle with a home in Tennessee if the team would to ever move him' to the Titans.

A trade to Tennessee? That's an issue here?

Kittle - who has made one of the All-Pro teams each of the last three seasons - responded to that one simply by bluntly writing a 1-word response.

"Wrong.''
