The San Francisco 49ers are enduring an involuntary re-tool of their roster this offseason.

After losing key roster components on both sides of the ball either due to salary cap-related cuts or free agency, general manager John Lynch is tasked with restocking talent this offseason.

With that in mind, and ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft, The Athletic's Matt Barrows reported on Monday that San Francisco will host defensive end Mykel Williams and defensive tackle Walter Nolen.

Williams posted 14 sacks and 23 tackles for loss at Georgia last season and will be on hand in Green Bay for the draft starting April 24.

The 6-4, 296-pound Nolen was responsible for 114 total tackles with 11.5 sacks and three forced fumbles in two seasons at Texas A&M and one at Ole Miss.

Both are expected to be first-round selections.

Nolen will also reportedly meet with the Bengals, Panthers and Cardinals. Tennessee defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott is also reportedly set to meet with the 49ers ahead of the draft.

SBNation noted about Nolen: "He’s not a player who wins much with technique ... but his motor allowed him to be a highly impactful defender against both the run and the pass. And then, of course, there are his impressive physical traits. Nolen has excellent power and bursts off the line, allowing him to bully offensive linemen in his rare one-on-one opportunities."
