“Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo has been making plenty of headlines lately—and it’s not just about her break-up with fellow Bravoleb Craig Conover. Some fans have also been pushing for her to leave the Hamptons behind and join another hit Bravo show. With the RHONY reboot cast in limbo, here are five reasons why DeSorbo would make a great addition to season 16 of the “Real Housewives of New York City.”
Paige DeSorbo Has a Successful Career Outside of Reality TV
Reality stars are best when they are genuine, and that is often left behind when the star needs the show in order to be successful. Meaning the best reality stars are successful in their own right outside of the show. Not only is DeSorbo in the midst of a wildy popular “Giggly Squad” tour with her podcast co-host Hannah Berner, that actually sold out two consecutive nights at Radio City Music Hall. She is also a major fashion influencer with collaborations with Amazon and DSW.
The ‘Summer House’ Star Embodies New York City
DeSorbo is an established New York City woman. Now that it is clear she will never move to Charleston, fans could see DeSorbo living and working in NYC, not just spending her weekends partying in the Hamptons.
Paige DeSorbo Is ‘Single’ In the City
Despite being seen with Joe D’Amelio multiple times since announcing her split from Conover, DeSorbo claims she is “single.” Like former RHONY standout Tinsley Mortimer, it would be entertaining to see DeSorbo navigate the ups and downs of dating.

While the reboot has caught some flack from fans—one thing is clear—this cast can dress. From Jenna Lyons‘ ability to make anything work with jeans to Jessel Tanks’ dedication to designers and Racquel Chevremont’s capability to make anything fashionable, DeSorbo would fit right in. Not only could she talk fashion with the ladies, but she would fit right in as they try and outdress each other for a simple lunch. And just like the early days of RHONY, the addition of DeSorbo could bring the cast back to New York Fashion Week and catfights.
Paige DeSorbo’s Lifestyle Aligns with the Current Cast

They are all successful in their own right with careers outside of the show. Most of the cast also shares aspects of their life not seen on the show on social media, which DeSorbo does weekly on her hit podcast. Just like “Vanderpump Rules” did with “The Valley,” it might be time for DeSorbo—and maybe Lindsay Hubbard—to move on to a show that aligns more with their day-to-day life.
