With his character being killed off amid saving his team members from a hazardous virus that was spilled in a bio lab, there are big changes coming for Station 118. And if that's not enough, this coincides with the news of the 9-1-1 universe expanding with a new spinoff series, 9-1-1: Nashville.

With so much happening in the 9-1-1 universe, fans want to know if more stories from Station 118 are on the way. We found some answers that viewers are definitely going to like.

Is Peter Krause returning as Bobby Nash for 9-1-1 season 9?

As the 9-1-1 season 8 finale seemingly indicated, it appeared that Bobby's death would affect the 118 moving forward. But given how Peter has returned to the show for flashback scenes in the episodes after his character's demise, does this mean there's a chance we'll see the station captain once again?

As Angela Bassett (who portrays Bobby's widow Athena Grant Nash) seemingly teased in an interview with Good Morning America, there may be a possibility that Bobby's story isn't exactly over.

"Listen — [the casket] was closed," Angela teased in a clip posted on YouTube about Bobby's funeral. "So, he may be up to things ... I don't know."

Given how this is adding fuel to the fire of already circulating fan theories that Bobby didn't actually die, we'll just have to wait and see what 9-1-1 season 9 has in store!

Are there any details we know about 9-1-1 season 9?

When Oliver and Aisha spoke with TV Insider after the 9-1-1 season 8 finale, both had thoughts on the trajectories of one particular character.

When it comes to Buck's future, Aisha thinks it's high time for his character to settle down in a romantic relationship. As for who could be Buck's potential love interest, she had some opinions about it.

“I would actually love to see Buck grounded in a relationship and experiencing it in the fullest way," Aisha told the outlet. "Someone who would probably extract that best side of him like an Abby (Connie Britton, last seen in a cameo during 9-1-1 season 3), but with the freedom that he now has to be the fullest version of himself with a Tommy (Lou Ferrigno Jr.)."

As for Buck's time in the 118, Oliver also stated he thinks Buck is in for a future full of growth after Bobby's death.

"For me, the main thing is that the kind of gravitas of losing Bobby is used as a catalyst to mature Buck," he added. "I think the growth has been there over the seasons, but I think this is a real opportunity to take him into his next iteration, whatever that ends up being. I think a more grounded worldly Buck can come out of this. I don’t know what that will look like, but I think character-wise, I think that’s the next step."
