What The Casting News Means For The 9-1-1: Nashville Spinoff
It's Full Steam Ahead For The Spinoff

The cast is rounding out nicely, though more casting announcements are likely to come in the future. Considering the spinoff got a straight-to-series order this February, the production needs to move fast to have all its actors in place by the time it begins shooting, currently scheduled for this summer in Nashville, Tennessee.
Our Take On The 9-1-1 Nashville Casting News
It Will Lean Into Music As Much As First Responders
With the casting announcement, as well as the previous casting news, it seems 9-1-1: Nashville will be leaning into its "Music City" nickname and moniker as the country music capital of the world. Along with Rimes and Williams-Paisley, who is married to country star Brad Paisley, Hailey Kilgore is herself an accomplished singer. Considering her background and character description, it seems singing will play a part in her storyline. It will be interesting to see how 9-1-1: Nashville balances out the tone in a series that is shaping up to be as much of a music drama as it is a first responder drama.
