9-1-1: Nashville Cast & Character Guide

   

Similar to its 9-1-1 predecessors, 9-1-1: Nashville features a talented cast containing a mix of big names and breakout stars. The ABC procedural drama TV show created by Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Rashad Raisani is the third installment and second spinoff in the 9-1-1 universe. 9-1-1 started it all back in 2018, while 9-1-1: Lone Star followed in 2020. The first spinoff ended in 2025 after five seasons, but the original series is still going strong, set to air its ninth season alongside 9-1-1: Nashville's debut season in the fall of 2025.

According to ABC9-1-1: Nashville season 1 will air on Thursdays at 9 pm ET on ABC starting in fall 2025, directly following new episodes of 9-1-1 season 9 at 8 pm ET.

As its title implies, 9-1-1: Nashville centers around the work and personal lives of a group of emergency responders in Nashville, Tennessee, all of whom face danger every day on the job. The characters range from firefighters and paramedics to police officers, just like the 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star casts. Together, they serve as Nashville's heroes.

Character: O'Donnell portrays Captain Don Sharpe, the face of 9-1-1: Nashville. As for his character, Don is a veteran firefighter who serves as the captain of a firehouse in Nashville. He's also a former rodeo star.
