The latest series in the 9-1-1 franchise has viewers raising one major concern.

- 9-1-1: Nashville is the latest spinoff to hit the 9-1-1 TV franchise.
- The new series is slated to premiere on Thursdays this fall on ABC.
- 9-1-1: Nashville dropped its first TV promo on Instagram, but fans only want Bobby Nash (Peter Krause) to return to 9-1-1.
We're just months away from the premiere of 9-1-1: Nashville — but fans have thoughts about the absence of someone that made an impact on the show's predecessor.
While 9-1-1: Nashville is the latest show to come from the hit TV franchise, folks have been watching its original show 9-1-1 since its 2018. Ever since season 8 ended with the death of Station 118 leader Bobby Nash (Peter Krause), fans have been hurting about no longer seeing their favorite captain when the show returns.
Despite the pain viewers feel about Bobby's TV death, the 9-1-1 franchise is hoping to get fans hyped up about its latest spinoff. As the upcoming ABC series revealed on Instagram on June 13, 9-1-1: Nashville's first promo highlights the potential emergencies that can emerge in Music City."From Broadway to backroads, Nashville’s emergencies are anything but ordinary," the caption read. "#911Nashville coming Thursdays this fall on ABC and Hulu!"While fans were certainly intrigued by ABC's attempt at enticing them to watch 9-1-1: Nashville, many still had one thing on their minds. They're seriously bummed out about not seeing Bobby appear in future seasons of 9-1-1, particularly as season 9 is set to premiere this fall on TV.
"Only Nash I care about is BOBBY NASH," one person wrote in the comments. "We didn't want this, we wanted Bobby Nash as Captain," another agreed. "NASHville you say? Maybe you should bring back Bobby Nash huh???? 🤔," a different viewer added.
Even though Bobby won't be coming back, 9-1-1: Nashville will introduce a new set of first responders, with Chris O'Donnell leading the show as Captain Don Sharpe. And if fans are hoping to see a former station leader come back for 9-1-1: Nashville, Rob Lowe (who portrayed Owen Strand on 9-1-1: Lone Star for five seasons) certainly seems up for the job after speaking out on the subject.
"Well, I’ll have to ask [9-1-1: Nashville executive producer] Chad Lowe, my brother," he teased to Decider in an interview published on June 11 about returning to the 9-1-1 TV fold. "See, all my family are gatekeepers to my own future business now ... I’m just waiting for my phone to ring. I mean, you know, I hired him on Lone Star. I think turnabout is fair play."
