'A Bіg Strаtegy For Wіnnіng' - Bengаlѕ Stаr Ted Kаrrаѕ Prаіѕeѕ Cіncіnnаtі'ѕ Wіde Receіver Contrаctѕ

Bengals center Ted Karras appeared on The Pat McAfee Show entering the weekend and sounded ecstatic about Cincinnati keeping the offensive weapons locked in for years to come.

Karras loves that Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase have their futures figured out and won't have to worry about contracts as the season gets closer.

"We're keeping our best players in-house," Karras noted about those stars sticking around for the next few seasons at least. "That's a big strategy for winning in the NFL, is developing high picks into good players and then retaining them. And I'm really happy for those guys, those guys work hard. Those top three. I mean, that makes us a very serious offense."

Cincinnati lit up the aerial marks last season with the most passing yards and touchdowns of any attack. Now, they get to elevate even higher without lingering distractions.

"A huge plus that we're not having like the hold-in with Ja'Marr [like last season]," Karras said. "So there's not that periphery distraction overall. It's not a big deal, I would say, in an NFL locker room, but it can be when it builds up like that, it can be a negative."

Karras declared the pressure is on Cincinnati to get back to the playoffs. The veteran is entering a contract season as well at 32 years old.
