The Minnesota Wild are set to draft at No. 13 for the upcoming NHL Draft. It got us thinking, who are some of the recent 13th overall picks?
After looking at this, there are a lot of solid NHL players who were drafted with the 13th overall pick and there are also a lot of solid/elite players taken at pick 14 or right around pick 13.
Everyone wants to be in the top ten and some think there are a few elite players in the top ten but the Wild will likely still get a good player with the 13th overall pick, just look at the last ten years for example.

2017: Nick Suzuki, Vegas Golden Knights
2016: Jake Bean, Carolina Hurricanes

Although it isn't guaranteed the Wild will get a stud like Jarvis or Josh Morrissey, who was the 13th overall pick in 2013, it looks like they should get a solid player with their pick.
The Wild have never drafted with the 13th overall pick in their history but they have had the 12th overall pick twice in their history. In 2004 they drafted A.J. Thelen with pick 12 and in 2019 they drafted Matt Boldy with pick 12.
Who would you like the Wild to pick with the 13th overall pick? Tell us here.
