New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has voiced his frustration with the franchise's internal leaks, calling it a significant issue that impacts team culture and chemistry.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday, Rodgers urged the organization to address the persistent problem of private information making its way to the media.
Rodgers emphasized that while leaks might not directly influence on-field performance, they create a toxic environment that hinders progress.
"Fixing the content and the fact that things are leaked is essential," he noted.
"It's not normal for so much to come out; that needs to change."
The Jets' season has been marred by turmoil, both on and off the field. At 4-11, they are set to miss the playoffs for the 14th consecutive year, marking the longest active drought in major North American sports.

Reports of dysfunction within the organization have further compounded their struggles, with team owner Woody Johnson's decision-making under scrutiny.
Allegations include Johnson relying on Madden video game ratings to veto trades and allowing his teenage sons to influence personnel decisions, according to the New York Times.
Amid these controversies, significant changes have already taken place. In October, head coach Robert Saleh was fired after a 1-4 start. Offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett was demoted the same day.
A month later, general manager Joe Douglas was also dismissed. The team's instability has reportedly left players and staff frustrated.
Rodgers pointed out that addressing these cultural issues is vital for the Jets' future.
"Winning becomes easier when there's stability and trust," he stated.
Despite the bleak outlook, the franchise appears to be gearing up for an offseason overhaul.
The Jets will face a tough challenge in their next game against the AFC East champion Buffalo Bills. With two games remaining, the team's leadership decisions in the coming months could shape the trajectory of the organization and Rodgers' role within it.
