CHICAGO -- Actor Dermot Mulroney has filed for divorce from singer-songwriter Prima Apollinaare after nearly 15 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
Mulroney, 61, is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s two daughters, according to court documents filed June 21 in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
He also requested to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to Apollinaare, according to NBC News.
The couple married in December 2010 after welcoming their daughters in 2008 and 2009. They began dating following Mulroney’s split from his first wife, actress Catherine Keener, with whom he shares an adult son.
Mulroney and Apollinaare appeared together on the Fox game show “We Are Family” in February 2024, according to Entertainment Weekly. She performed in the Season 1 finale, which featured celebrity relatives showcasing their musical talents while contestants tried to guess their identities.
Mulroney is best known for his roles in “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” “August: Osage County,” and NBC’s “Chicago Fire.
