It's another great weekend for horror fans as The Last of Us is finally returning to our airwaves. The HBO series, based on the PlayStation video game franchise of the same name, will be telling the story of The Last of Us Part II. In doing so, it's set to make us cry all over again. Now, before we return to this post-apocalypse full of infected Clickers, Dark Horse has unveiled their new Last of Us statue.

This Dark Horse Direct exclusive Last of Us bust is of Joel with a brick. The highly-detailed piece is based on the original game where the character was played by Troy Baker. A brick was just one of the many items players could use as a weapon or distraction from the deadly Clickers. The bust will be $149.99 USD. Joel’s bust now enters an endless infected sea of merchandise that has included apparel collections, Funko Pops, and action figures.

What's ‘The Last of Us’ Season 2 About?

Like the sequel it's based on, The Last of Us Season 2 takes place five years after the events of Season 1. Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Joel (Pedro Pascal) have settled into Jackson with the latter's brother Tommy (Gabriel Luna). All seems well, but Joel's decision at the end of Season 1 is eating away at his relationship with Ellie. That all comes to a boiling point when Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) finds Jackson. Her connection to Joel is a tragic one. Like most people in this harsh post-apocalypse, she's out for blood.

The original Last of Us game was a dark story full of brutal themes and death around every corner. That's reflected in Season 1 of its masterful HBO adaptation. However, Part II made the original game look like a sunny walk in the park in comparison. If you haven't played the second installment, nothing will emotionally prepare you for what's in store for Season 2. If it's anything like the game, the themes of revenge, bloodlust, and humanity’s unbreakable cycle of violence will have the fanbase spiraling. Season 2 is already receiving its undead flowers too, as it debuted with a certified-fresh rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. Alongside Pascal, Ramsey and Dever, Season 2 will also star Isabela Merced (Alien: Romulus), Young Mazino, Jeffrey Wright (Casino Royale) and Catherine O’ Hara (Home Alone).
