Alex McCord was recently "saved" by some very gifted hairstylists.
On March 12, The Real Housewives of New York City alum took to her Instagram Stories to show off a newly dyed hair look and style. "The team at [Miss Fox hair salon] saved me from a travel [and] regrowth situation," Alex wrote over a selfie revealing her fresh tresses with a touched-up golden-blonde color and blowout.
"Thanks lovelies!" Alex concluded her post, showing her gratitude for the hair transformation.
Though Alex has typically kept the same shoulder-length blonde hair look over the years, she still rocks it. Looking fresh, Alex!

Alex McCord reflects on married life with Simon van Kempen
In 2024, Alex and her husband, Simon van Kempen, reflected on "24 years of blissful marriage" with a throwback photo from their wedding.
"On this day in 2000 at Maxims on Madison Avenue we promised ‘til death do us part and I reckon we’ve got at least another 24 and hopefully 26+years of bliss together!" the couple beamed in the caption of the shard Instagram post.

Alex McCord explains why she and her family relocated from NYC to Australia
Alex and Simon share sons Francois and Johan who were introduced to Bravo viewers in 2008 when Alex appeared on the inaugural season of RHONY. Following her exit from the series (in 2014), Alex and her family relocated to Simon’s home country of Australia, where they remain to this day.
In a 2014 interview with The Daily Dish, Alex spoke about the family's thought process behind the move.
“We’ve made the decision to move to Australia to be with family,” she explained. “Over the last few years, all of Simon’s family have reconvened from as far as Europe to all live within 20 minutes of each other on a collection of beautiful beaches on the north coast of New South Wales. We are the last of the family to move back, and it’s time.
She continued: “Our children have never had the opportunity to live within walking distance of grandparents and cousins, and with our two boys aged 8 and 10 it’s the perfect time for the extended family to enjoy each other. We both love New York City, and Brooklyn specifically, almost as much as each other; however, we’ve been there, done that and written the book—literally—on raising Little Kids in the Big City. It’s now time for a new adventure.”
