Alexis Bellino claimed Real Housewives of Orange County edited out her “receipts” pertaining to Shannon Beador and her lawsuit against Alexis’ fiancé John Janssen, who dated Shannon for two years. Alexis also shared why Shannon settled the suit, and she claimed she “never” would’ve returned had she known she’d get the “villain” edit.
Soon after the season began filming, John sued Shannon, claiming she failed to pay him back for loans totaling $75,000 for a facelift. She claimed it was a gift, though they recently reached an agreement that she’d pay him $60,000.
“I just had a chance to watch the reunion of RHOC season 18. I’m letting everyone know that I’m broken by this season,” wrote Alexis on Instagram after the final reunion aired. “I have been beaten down so badly, so wrongly, and so many truths left out. So much left on the cutting room floor that would’ve never brought so much hate to me and my family. There ARE receipts. Many. And They WILL be brought out this week.”
“The lawsuit only finalized because the opposition knew we had the receipts to bring to court. She had to pay up because she would’ve lost in court. Ya, she only paid $60k of the $75, but thank you for that $60k. John gave you a discount,” she went on. “The lie that ‘someone’ paid for everything is squashed by the fact of what our forensic accountant did. $50k spent by John year one. Then $380k over 3 years. Then 2 loans of $75k which she finally had to pay because the evidence would’ve squashed her in court.”
Alexis claimed that “truth prevails.”
“It’s unfortunate that I didn’t get the opportunity for these receipts to be shown at the reunion, although they were brought by me and they were VERY available to be shown. So now John and I will bring them in our own voice,” she explained. “This is never how I would’ve thought or wanted it to happen. I also want it to be known that I never thought I’d be brought back this season to be the villain. If I had known that I never would’ve signed. I live in love. Not anger or hate or villainous. I truly lay awake every night wondering why it was portrayed this way. Unfortunately, this season made a hit show at my and John’s expense.”
On her Instagram Stories, Alexis shared a video of Lady Gaga accepting an Oscar in 2019, addressing how “hard” she’s worked “for a long time.”
“1,000,000%,” wrote Alexis over the @womenmanifestsuccess video. “And I will continue to stand up again. #jesusisonthethrone.”
