The New Orleans Saints have eight draft picks to use at the end of April.
The team did not receive any compensatory picks on Tuesday when the league announced them. So, here's a look at all of the draft selections New Orleans will have at its disposal when things go down in Green Bay for the three-day event.
2025 New Orleans Saints Draft Picks
- Round 1, 9th Overall
- Round 2, 40th Overall
- Round 3, 71st Overall
- Round 3, 93rd Overall (via Washington Commanders)
- Round 4, 112th Overall
- Round 4, 131st Overall (via Commanders)
- Round 6, 184th Overall (reacquired via Commanders)
- Round 7, 248th Overall (via Philadelphia Eagles through Commanders)
Having six picks inside the Top-150, the Saints have a great opportunity to come away with some real big talent. What they actually do with those choices is anybody's guess right now. However, free agency is showing they're giving some areas more attention that others.
Re-signing Juwan Johnson doesn't necessarily mean the Saints won't draft a tight end, as Foster Moreau and Taysom Hill are both coming off of major injuries and their exact return timetable is unknown currently. It just might mean they can do that later, and there's plenty of good talent going through Round 3 to pull that off.
Naturally, that's just one example of how it could work. What New Orleans does at 9th will be interesting to watch unfold. What is Kellen Moore's input and thought process? Will they trade up? What position will they address first? Could they acquire players during the draft or ship some out? Once we get through the heart of free agency, we'll have a better idea and understanding of where the Saints are at.
