Radio DJ and Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has channelled her inner Alan Partridge and declared her love for Norwich - she even had her hen do there over ten years ago
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has gone full Alan Partridge after revealing her love for Norwich.
She admitted her love for the East Anglian city and said that she had her hen party there. The 54-year-old had her hen weekend in Burnham Market, one of Norfolk's poshest villages, when she was to be wed to record producer, Chris Hughes, in 2008.
The breakfast DJ said: "I was on my hen night and I chose to have it in Norwich, I love Norfolk. It's like the Vegas of England! What goes on in Norwich stays in Norwich!

"On the way, on the coach, I don't know if it was like Norwich FM or whatever. They gave me a shoutout on the radio!
"I said you must be joking me! Oh my god, I've got a shoutout!
"One of the best things ever, so I know how people feel when they get a shoutout."
Holden spends a lot of time in Norfolk, having been spotted at Sprowston Manor last year.
The Heart Radio presenter also used to have a cottage in Norfolk, a place she was first introduced to by her ex-husband, Les Dennis.

She dubbed Holkham beach as "her favourite in the world" and still goes to the county for family holidays.
Norwich is the capital of Norfolk and the childhood home of Alan Partridge, played by Steve Coogan.
The TV series of Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge was filmed there, at Anglia Studios.

Alan Partridge's fictional association with Norwich, Norfolk, is a well-known part of his character's persona.
While he was born in King's Lynn, a town near Norwich, the character is heavily connected to Norwich through his work as a DJ on BBC Radio Norfolk.
He even ended up working at BBC Radio Norfolk after being axed from his chat show.

Coogan has confirmed that the next Alan Partridge series has wrapped filming, letting slip in the process a change from the previously announced working title.
Alan Partridge's How Are You? (previously known as And Did Those Feet...) will see the satirical broadcaster checking in on the mental health of the nation – as well as opening up on his own struggles.
The BBC previously announced that the series would find Alan returning to his home county of Norfolk after a year working abroad in Saudi Arabia, but struggling to shake a persistent feeling of unease.

This week, Amanda disclosed that a sharp five-word critique from her daughter about her style is all it takes to make her reconsider her wardrobe choice.
Known for her bold outfit choices on Britain's Got Talent, Amanda's most controversial outfit reportedly drew over 600 viewer complaints to regulatory body Ofcom.
Amanda, who shares her home with her husband Chris and daughters Lexi, 19, and Hollie, 12, acknowledges that their opinions matter to her.
She said: "My daughters normally love my outfits, but Lexi is quite critical, like her daddy."
She admits there's one type of feedback from her eldest that will prompt an immediate costume change: "Though if Lexi says: 'It makes you look old' then I listen to that."
