The Britain's Got Talent judge was seated in Centre Court to watch the action unfold last night
Amanda Holden has expressed her gratitude as she spent time with her daughter at Wimbledon yesterday, July 8. The major tennis tournament is well underway and some big names have already been knocked out as the semi-final approaches.
The Britain's Got Talent judge was seated in Centre Court to watch the action unfold last night. Centre Court is widely considered the world's most famous tennis court, at over 100 years old. It has seen the biggest tennis stars in the world compete for the prestigious Wimbledon trophy.
Sharing a photo to Instagram of her and daughter Lexi Hughes, Amanda said: "Centre court can't wait for this afternoon's play we feel so lucky @Lexi.Hughes." The mum and daughter were pictured with the court in the background, smiling and enjoying the sunny weather with sunglasses on.
Amanda shares her two girls, Lexi and Hollie with her husband, Chris Hughes. Alexa was born in 2006 and Hollie was born 2012. The couple has been married since December 2008 when they tied the knot at Babington House in Somerset.

She married the record producer in 2008 after the two met in Los Angeles in 2003, but they only started dating a year later after reuniting during London Fashion Week in 2004. They had a Christmas-themed wedding due to the December date, and had imitation snow and ivy all around the church.
Wimbledon always attracts celebrities from all trades, including sport, acting, presenting and music. Also in attendance at Wimbledon yesterday were actress Jodie Foster, footballers Jurrien Timber and Bukayo Saka and the legendary Sir Ian McKellen.
The celebrities watched as England's Cameron Norrie was knocked out by Spain's Carlos Alcaraz. Norrie had hoped to become just the third home player in the open era to defeat a men’s title holder in SW19 after Roger Taylor and Tim Henman but was easily defeated in a 6-2 6-3 6-3 quarter-final defeat in just an hour and 39 minutes.
After the defeat, Norrie spoke about Alcaraz's Wimbledon campaign going forward. He said: "I think he is the favourite, for sure. His level was unreal.
"I felt like a lot of the time, if I didn’t do enough with the ball, he was going to punish me with a lot of his different options, with power. He’s got the drop (shot) as well available.
“So I think I was missing a little bit more because I was pressing a bit more than usual, but I think that’s credit to him – his physicality, his movement and power.”
