One of Amanda’s favorite forms of exercise is yoga. She tells Women’s Health that she began doing Kundalini yoga after having her daughter. “I got into yoga because after Hollie was born I’d been on a ventilator and I had a lot of lung problems. Kundalini yoga is all about breathwork, so I took it on to build my strength. A lot of people advised me to do it for calmness, too. I don’t really sit still, I’m always on the go.”

Amanda does eat healthy, but that doesn’t mean she deprives herself of her favorite indulgences. “Life’s too short to do fat-free, sugar-free, alcohol-free,” Amanda says to The DailyMail. “I don’t believe in half-fat anything, I have full-fat yoghurt, butter and cheese. And I splurge on the weekends. I love wine.”
Amanda revealed to Hello! Magazine that she likes to go on a detox twice a year. “I’m used to it now,” she says. “So I don’t experience any bad side effects. I really feel a great benefit. My skin glows, eyes are brighter and there is some weight loss but the most important thing is my mental state.”
Amanda tells The Times that she takes a Revive Collagen supplement each day. “I wouldn’t promote it if I didn’t believe in it — but you start to lose collagen in your twenties and replacing it has helped with the thickness of my hair and strengthening my nails, which were a bit lacklustre. Plus, my skin is better.”
Amanda makes sure to keep herself hydrated. She tells DailyMail that she especially loves drinking coconut water. “I drink loads of water — a lot of coconut water — but I think it’s genetic because my nan looks amazing at 97. I also think having children as an older mum — or ‘geriatric mum.’ You just have to keep going when you have children. You’re constantly haring around.”
