Amanda Holden was around 30 minutes late to her Heart FM breakfast show on Monday morning, leaving Jamie Theakston presenting solo
Amanda Holden cheekily issued a playful warning of "big fat trouble" after she turned up late for Heart FM's breakfast show on Monday morning. The 54-year-old missed the first half-hour of the programme.
And it's not the first time Amanda has struggled to make it to work on time either. She told co-host Jamie Theakston that she has issues "five times" in the past year.
She told Jamie that her driver "forgot to set his alarm" in order to get her from Surrey to London in time. As the star arrived for work, Jamie joked: "What kind of time do you call this?"
Amanda humorously pointed the finger elsewhere: "Oh you don't want to blame me, blame Alan Watson who did not put his alarm on. He is my driver and my phone is on silent, obviously, always, and he was ringing me at 5.15am, saying, 'I haven't put the alarm on'."
She warned: "That's like the fifth time he's done that now. Heads are going to roll Jamie.

"How long have we been doing Heart, six years? Five years he's been absolutely brilliant, this past year, it's been about five times."
Chastising her driver's recent performance, she declared: "He has taken his eye off the ball. I'm saying it out loud and Alan, you're in big fat trouble. I hate being late and letting people down."
Amanda is no stranger to fashionably late entrances at Heart, recalling a September instance where she offered an apology on air to Jason King as she found herself "in a taxi" and not quite at the radio studio yet.
