An Overdose And A Firebomb: The Post Christening Crisis On June 30 General Hospital

Port Charles is in crisis mode.

There can’t be a happy occasion in Port Charles without a crisis, and the June 30, 2025 episode of General Hospital ended with two.

Drowning Her Sorrows

Just before Daisy’s christening began, Natalia (Eva LaRue) barged in to confront Sonny (Maurice Benard) about him not joining her to start her new life. She told him she thought they were going to leave to start a new life together, and after apologizing for the confusion, he sent her on her way.

Back at her hotel room, she began having a mental break as she packed her bags. She down some prescription pills and chased them with alcohol before texting Marco (Adrian Anchondo) what he told Lucas (Van Hansis) was drunken gibberish. By the time he decided to go check on her, she was already passed out on the couch.

Up In Flames

After the christening, everyone headed back to the Quartermaine Mansion to celebrate Michael (Rory Gibson) and Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) new baby girl. But as soon as Kristina (Kate Mansi) arrived, she found out she needed to head to Charlie’s. At the same time, a mysterious group of people broke into the pub and doused everything in gasoline. The second Kristina walked in, a firebomb was tossed through the window, trapping and her between the bar and the flames.

This marks the second child of Sonny’s to be caught in a fire this year, the first being the penthouse bombing that nearly killed Michael. While Sidwell (Carlo Rota) claims he had nothing to do with the first bombing, after the way he’s been keeping photos of all of Sonny’s loved ones, this new threat could certainly be his doing.
