Andy Cohen Finally Gives An Answer About RHONJ's Future

Will The Real Housewives of New Jersey be renewed for a new season? In a recent appearance on The View, producer Andy Cohen discussed the future of the Real Housewives show and the changes that will be made to it.

"We are doing casting on 'Jersey,'" he said. "It was really on a deep pause, and we are actively there, casting and looking at the future of what that will be." He added that RHONJ is "a great franchise, and we love it."

Who Will Be Cast In 'The Real Housewives Of New Jersey?'

What this means is that reality TV fans may be saying goodbye to some of their current Real Housewives favorites (although it's unclear whether the entire cast will be replaced or cast members will be added to create an interesting new dynamic). The current cast includes Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Rachel Fuda, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, and Danielle Cabral.

The franchise has brought drama, but it has also been accompanied by a lot of negativity and challenging relationships, notably between Gorga and Giudice. Many fans would welcome the changes, as The Real Housewives of New Jersey will be entering its 15th season.

This is also not the first time that Cohen has teased changes. In July 2024, he told a caller on the radio show Andy Cohen Live: "We are rebooting the show. We're gonna reboot it. We're gonna do something different." He added, "We're gonna see what we do. We'll see. I don't know. Maybe just all fresh faces."

Gorga addressed the casting and appeared to suggest that no one is safe. "Sometimes when we're at dinner, we'll speculate and say, what do you think? What do you think they're going to do?" she told People in November 2024. "I mean, we'd be lying if we said we didn't, but at the end of the day we know all of us have zero control over it. So whatever is meant to be will be, and that's how it goes."
