Andy Cohen Jokes Anderson Cooper’s Kids ‘Don’t Ever Seem to Do Anything Wrong’: 'Annoys Me So Much’

Andy Cohen can't figure out how Anderson Cooper's kids are so well-behaved.

While appearing on Live with Kelly and Mark on Thursday, May 30, the Watch What Happens Live host, 55, spoke about his longtime friendship with the Anderson Cooper 360° journalist, 56, noting that Cooper's two kids always seem to be well behaved.

"I love when you and Anderson Cooper go on daddy field trips with the kids. Who do you think is the more neurotic out of the two of you?" Mark Consuelos asks.

"I actually think I might be. You would think that he is…" Cohen jokes, trailing off.

"He’s pretty mellow," Consuelos responds.

"His kids also don’t ever seem to do anything wrong and it annoys me so much! I’m like, my kid is like just out of a time out and headed into another time out. And his kids are like, ‘Yes daddy, I will do that,' " Cohen jokes, putting on a robot voice. "I’m like, ‘Do you have any issues in your home?’ It’s annoying to me!"

"I keep telling him that. I’m like, ‘This is not representative of children!’ " Kelly Ripa shares.

"I’m like, ‘Do they ever cry?’ It’s very annoying," Cohen says.

Cohen is dad to son Ben, 5, and daughter Lucy, 2, while Cooper is dad to sons Wyatt, 3, and Sebastian, 2, whom he shares with ex Benjamin Maisani.

On Father's Day this year, Cohen posted an adorable photo on his Instagram of himself and his son Ben propped on his shoulders. Wearing sweatpants with flames on them, Ben's face was cut off as Cohen smiled for the camera.

Next to Cohen, Cooper stood with one of his sons on his shoulders, wearing a New York Yankees cap and holding his phone. His son's face was also out of frame as he rested on his dad's back.

"Every day is Father’s Day! #AC4," Cohen captioned the picture.

Appearing on Bruce Bozzi'sTable for Two podcast in 2022, Cohen discussed how his bond with Cooper has strengthened since the two became fathers.

"We are these geriatric patients hobbling around chasing our children, but look it's another bonding thing," Cohen told Bozzi.

"I think what is going to be really interesting to us, as it develops, is being gay dads and as our kids start realizing more and more 'Oh I have gay dads.' I am so glad that Ben [Cohen] will grow up with Wyatt [Cooper] and that Ben with grow up seeing Anderson and Benjamin [Maisani] raising Wyatt and Sebastian."
