Andy Cohen is reflecting on a moment from Vanderpump Rules' one and only fully-virtual reunion.
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host, more specifically, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on October 7 to re-share a clip from the Season 8 reunion.
"Wow I forgot about this," Andy wrote about the video. "Simpler times!"
In the video itself, Jax Taylor asks Andy if he "has something against" him in between shooting segments of the reunion.
"I think Andy's rooting for you!" Tom Schwartz says in Andy's defense. "Andy's rooting for you, Jax!"
"I like you a lot," Andy agreed. "Guess what, my job here is to call people out."
Jax went on to share that he thought he was the "best [he'd] ever been," but he still felt like he was getting called out a lot. Andy then had one major piece of advice for the former SUR bartender.
"You need to watch the show," he said, explaining that Jax's lack of familiarity with the season was "part of the reason [there's] such a disconnect."
Jax doubled down, but Andy replied, "Jax, you gotta watch the show, because that's what I'm dealing with. That's what I'm working off of."
Jax Taylor's life lately
A lot has changed for Jax since that reunion filmed. Most notably, he returned to Bravo with Season 1 of The Valley in March 2024, and around the same time, his wife Brittany Cartwright announced their separation.
What's more, Brittany initially moved out of the couple's Valley Village home, which they share with their son, Cruz Michael Cauchi. However, in September 2024, Jax confirmed that he moved out and was living at the same apartment complex as Tom Schwartz.
A few weeks before Jax announced his move, Brittany officially filed for divorce. Jax responded to Brittany's filing in late September, and then again in early October.
In addition to the change in his marital status, Jax has also recently gone through some changes in his friendships.
On the October 3 episode of his and Brittany's podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany, Jax shared that he's on amazing terms with Tom Sandoval.
Jax, more specifically, said that his former SUR colleague reached out to him when he was spending time in an in-patient facility for mental health-related struggles, and they've since grown closer.
"Yes, actually Tom Sandoval has reached out to me more than anybody," Jax said on his podcast. "And I know people are gonna be shocked by that. I have been hanging out with him a little bit more lately."
Jax added that he now talks to Tom Sandoval "three to four times a week."
"I love Tom [Sandoval], and I will always love him no matter what he does. He's my best friend, along with Tom Schwartz," he concluded. "They're both my best friends."
