Andy Cohen offered an update on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and The Real Housewives of New York City while visiting Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, last week.
After Teresa Giudice‘s feud with Melissa Gorga, 46, left the RHONJ cast divided after season 14, Andy, 56, admitted that news of season 15 wouldn’t be announced “for a while” as he also addressed rumors claiming Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard, 38, would be added to RHONY for season 16, teased the upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of Miami, and more.
“Not for a while. Oh yeah,” Andy said during a May 21 interview with Access Hollywood after being asked when RHONJ would be cast.
As for people saying that Lindsay would join RHONY for its new season, Andy shot down the reports.
“Are they saying that? I don’t think so. I don’t think so,” he confirmed. “But I think she should always be on TV.”
“We are between seasons, and we are always casting, and that’s what’s happening right now,” he added of the show, which was rumored to have been put on pause earlier this month.
Moving on to RHOM, Andy said the new season was “so good” and “absolutely incredible.”
“I’m really excited about it … it’s great. It’s funny. There are some housewives’ fights that are a level of petty that is exactly my speed. It’s great. And it looks beautiful. It’s so colorful. I love that show,” he gushed.
Also during the interview, after noting that he was a hands-on dad when it comes to visiting theme parks, and joked that his son, Ben, 6, is the “king of the clap back,” Andy described the next BravoCon, which will take place from November 14 through November 16 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
“It will be a tweaked-up version of what the last BravoCon was. Last year it was big, but we just want to … give everyone an opportunity to see it, and there’s gonna be a lot of chances to watch on Peacock,” he revealed.
