On the latest season of Vanderpump Rules, Ann was fired after taking a job interview with Ariana while her current boss was in the house listening. Months later, fans were pleased to learn that Ariana hired Ann to work at the new sandwich shop, which just opened.

“It was my first week working at Something About Her,” shared Ann on her We Signed an NDA podcast. “It was super fun. I got to meet a lot of people … I really loved it.”

According to Ann, she could “eat free sandwiches,” and she was excited to go to work with people she “enjoy[s] hanging out with.”

She addressed how Ariana is now in Fiji hosting Love Island, which Ann watches each week. The former assistant said she’s “not sad” Tom “fired” her because she now has a “great job” at the sandwich shop.

Earlier this year, Ann addressed getting fired after her job interview with Ariana.

“When we originally were supposed to shoot that interview, Tom was not supposed to be home,” said Ann on a past episode of her podcast. “But then [their dog Maya] ate the chicken skewer, so we had to cancel it. And so the only other time we could shoot it was when Tom was home.”

She hinted that producers had something to do with it.

“You can’t really argue with the producers. It gets a little sticky,” she explained. “That’s probably all I could say for now … I want to make it clear that I was never formally fired. How many months has it been since August? … The day after that all happened, I got a text saying, ‘You don’t have to come in. [Tom] just needs some time,’ and I texted back, ‘okay,’ and that was the last time we had … communicated.”

“What would have been nice, what would have been thoughtful, was when you replaced me with another employee, you let me know that it’s time for me to find another job,” Ann shared at the time. “I have no income. I don’t know if I’m allowed to file for unemployment … I’m just kind of a sitting duck with my bank account running out with no net. It’s a terrifying position.”
