Is Brooke closer than ever to getting what she wants?
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, April 29 saw Eric standing firmly on Team Bridge, Ridge reassuring Taylor, and the Logans celebrating Brooke’s success.
What Happened Today On Bold and the Beautiful?
Over at the Logan estate, Eric (John McCook) had breakfast with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie (Heather Tom) and loved hearing their praises and giving them the same. Before heading to the office, Eric made it a point to tell Brooke he was sure she’d get Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) back soon. Sure, he likes Taylor but they don’t have what Brooke and Ridge have.
Alone with her sister, Katie assured Brooke it was only a matter of time before she gets what she wants. Just look how Ridge stared at her during the fashion show. There’s no denying Ridge is on the verge of dumping Taylor and running towards his destiny. Brooke was cautiously optimistic.

Oh, The Games We Play
Meanwhile, Ridge and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) were at the Forrester mansion talking about the show’s success. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) joined them to read off reviews…all of which were glowing. Unfortunately, Brooke’s success cast a dark cloud over Ridge and Taylor. He promised it wouldn’t change things between them.
Steffy stayed behind after Ridge left to have a heart-to-heart with her mom. Taylor claimed she was fine, but Steffy knew different. Her mother was worried…as was she. Steffy believed her dad, though. If Ridge says there’s nothing to worry about they need to put their faith in him.
Once at the office, Ridge confronted his father about putting Brooke in the Portofino showstopper stunt he and Brooke pulled. Eric boasted about it being a brilliant move, despite it blindsiding his son. In fact, that was the point. He wanted Ridge to see what’s in his heart. He was showing his son his future – Brooke.
Ridge balked at his father’s desire to put him back with Brooke. He’s with Taylor now and refuses to hurt her again. Brooke keeps betraying him and Taylor always stays true and that’s that. Well, not so fast. Eric pointed out that Brooke didn’t betray anyone and it was time for his son to forgive the woman and put things right.
Unrequited Love
In the staging room, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) was all smiles and compliments with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) as she buttered him up. It was all going swimmingly…until he brought up Hope (Annika Noelle). Daphne Rose told him to forget about his ex, especially since he had her standing right in front of him.

Before things went too far, Zende (Delon de Metz) interrupted the conversation. Carter took the chance to take off and Zende questioned Daphne Rose about her feelings towards the COO. Daphne Rose had no problem admitting she was falling for him. Sure, this all started as a scheme between her and Steffy but she was tripping head over heels. Zende agreed to keep that part a secret but warned her to be careful. Unfortunately, Katie heard much of that conversation.
Zende was barely out of the room before she stepped up to Daphne Rose to confront her. She accused the perfumer of manipulating Carter and demanded to know her secrets. Daphne Rose tried to play it cool but it was clear she has finally met her match.
