Next Gen NYC cast member Ariana Biermann is sharing new details about her financial situation with her mom, Kim Zolciak.

Ariana Biermann is now sharing updates on her finances after alleging that her parents, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, "took" her money on Next Gen NYC Season 1, Episode 1.
The Next Gen NYC cast member recently spoke with People, where she admitted that it was hard for her to talk about it. "I think it's a little nerve-wracking to obviously share the money situation," she said. "Money makes things awkward, and I hate what money can do to people."
This was especially the case since she didn't want to let her financial situation come in between her and her mom, an alum of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. "I really have tried to not ever let it affect me and my mom's relationship — she's my best friend in the world," Ariana added. "It was no one's goal for this to be the way that it was, and we haven't let it affect us."
"I think people have a different idea of my money situation and think that I'm balling. I'm like, 'No, definitely not the case,'" she added.
Ariana Biermann reveals that Kim Zolciak is paying her back
Ariana continued, admitting to the publication that Kim "is very good at paying" her back for the money that she allegedly took from her. "She's done a few shows, which is amazing, and they take a second to get paid out for everything," she said.
"My mom always pays me back though, but it's definitely gotten better," Ariana admitted. "She's working really hard."
What Ariana Biermann revealed about her parents taking her money
During a confessional in Next Gen NYC Season 1, Episode 1, Ariana opened up about her financial situation. "I started posting on Instagram. I got my first brand deal when I was 14," she said. "I was doing like, three posts a week. You get paid astronomical [amounts] to do a story or to do an Instagram post, and I made quite a bit of money."
However, Ariana claimed that the money went both to Kim and Kroy, who are still going through a divorce. "I can't exactly say what they used it on, because I just found out that it was gone two years ago," Ariana explained. "I don't even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest. There was no transparency. And I have no idea where it actually went."
Ariana continued, noting that she still sends Kim money, which is upsetting to her boyfriend and Next Gen NYC cast member, Hudson McLeroy. "She's going through this crazy divorce and being a mother to four kids. I get it," she added. "And I never want money to destroy a relationship with my family, ever."

In spite of this, Ariana told Us Weekly in April that her and Kim are still very, very close and that she's her "best friend in the world." "I hope she continues to thrive," she said.
Ariana is also happy that her mom has been afforded a fresh start in her new house. "[Kim] was living in the basement of our old house...so I think, for her, it's almost like a really nice, fresh start," she explained to The Daily Dish recently. "Where she can be in her own space and kind of just heal from everything that's gone on in the past couple of years."
