Vanderpump Rules' Ariana Madix shed major light on her relationship with boyfriend Daniel Wai.
Ariana Madix feels something brand new in her romance with Daniel Wai, she declared at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 17.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member began dating the fitness trainer turned bar co-owner in the spring of 2023, shortly after her nine-year relationship with Tom Sandoval came to an end. And while she didn't envision herself getting married or having children when she was with the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras singer, she now believes that's a possibility for her.
When E! News asked if she thinks Daniel is "the one," Ariana responded, "I think so."
"I think when you know, you know, and I think very early on I was just like, 'There's something different about this guy.' He continues to show up for me, like, consistently," she continued.
Gushing even more about their two-year romance, Ariana said that Daniel ticks off every box.
"He’s everything I’ve ever wanted without even knowing that that's what I wanted," she said. "Like, he'll say something and I'm like, 'How did you even know that that's what I was thinking?' And I like it. It's lovely."
She added that she "sometimes" thinks of marrying Daniel.

Ariana opened up about how Daniel embraces all of her qualities in a chat with People.
"He's taught me that the things that I perceive as imperfections or flaws are non-existent to him. There’s things that I’ll say like, ‘I hate this about myself, I hate that about myself,’ and without him ever hearing me say that, or him even knowing, he’ll be like, ‘Man, I love this about you,'" she told the publication.
Ariana continued, "He’s taught me not to focus on those things because someone who loves you doesn’t even see that. And if they do see it, they think it’s amazing about you."
How did Ariana Madix meet Daniel Wai?
The couple first met at a mutual friend's wedding in Mexico in March 2023, which happened to be the same month that Ariana split from Tom.
Ariana and the 41-year-old went public with their romance in April 2023, and they've been dating long-distance ever since.
Daniel is based in New York City, while Ariana purchased a home in the Hollywood Hills in 2024.

Daniel is a personal trainer and fitness coach who has his own company, Daniel Wai Fitness.
He's also a bartender and a partner of a Tribeca bar, Little More.
