Ariana feels a special connection to Mamma Mia! because it was the first show she saw on Broadway. And knowing the show is coming back to the Great White Way is making Ariana want to live her dreams of being a part of the ABBA musical.

Ariana Madix wants to continue her Broadway dream

The Vanderpump Rules star was last on a New York stage back in January when she starred as Roxie Hart in the Tony-winning revival of Chicago. She did such an amazing job that she did an encore performance in the Kander & Ebb/Bob Fosse musical in Chicago last August.

Ariana talks to PEOPLE about how much she wants to return to the Big Apple for the revival of Mamma Mia!

“It was the first show I ever saw on Broadway,” she shared. “So if Mamma Mia! is coming back to Broadway I want to be a part of it in any way, shape, or form.” She wasn’t joking when she said she wanted to be part of the show in any capacity.

“I will rhinestone costumes!” the Dancing with the Stars alum joked. “I will do whatever it takes!”

It just goes to show that while Ariana became famous on reality TV, her true passion has always been the performing arts. She studied musical theater in Florida and moved to New York after graduation with the hope of working on Broadway.

And after a decade on Bravo and one Scandoval under her belt, Ariana has made her way back to her first love. “To say this is a fulfillment of a lifelong dream would be an understatement. This is quite literally everything to be. It’s all I’ve ever wanted,” she shared. And maybe the dream will continue with Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! tells the story of a young bride-to-be as she attempts to find her father from among her mother’s lovers. The show features the music of ABBA and has had several successful runs on Broadway and abroad. A successful movie adaptation starred Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried.
