The drama that unfolded between former couple Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval in Vanderpump Rules Season 10 is still nowhere from over. As the shocking aftermath of Tom and co-star Rachel "Raquel" Leviss affair continued to play out in Season 11, things only got worse as friendships became divided and Ariana refused to come near Tom to film the series. That said, Season 12 is on a hiatus as the cast needs a break from the intense drama that unfolded during the finale of the previous season.
Although Ariana has skyrocketed to fame after the scandal, including making her Broadway debut and hosting Love Island USA Season 6, she still finds herself at the center of the drama. This time, it involves her brother, Jeremy Madix, whose latest arrest for trafficking cannabis might have just put the nail in the coffin of their already strained relationship.

In February, Jeremy Madix and his friend Jonah Ahad, were arrested at Orlando International Airport after they were charged with trafficking cannabis. According to court documents obtained by People, Jeremy and Jonah, who were planning to fly to Germany, were stopped by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent who claimed that the men's suticases had "a large amount of greeny leafy substance in vaccum-sealed bags in all of the suitcases." After testing the substances, the plants tested positive for cannabis.
The suitcases that were under Jeremy's name contained "64 vacuum-sealed bags of about 76 pounds of cannabis," while Jonah's bags "contained 31 bags of cannabis weighing about 37 pounds."
Although the incident took place months ago, Jeremy wasn't arrested until July. He was extradited to Florida and his bond was set at $80,000. Jeremy must also give up his passport after he is released from bond.
Jeremy and Ariana's mother, Tanya Madix, came to her son's defense and asked the judge overseeing the case to show him leniency, because he is not a bad person.
"He has a good job and is liked by his employer. He shares a home with his lovely fiancee Rachael and their two dogs. Jeremy is proud of his home and puts in much effort in beautifying the property."
However, one person that did not come to Jeremy's defense was his famous sister, Ariana.

Jeremy Madix isn't a cast member on Vanderpump Rules, but he has made numerous appearances on the show and had also worked at SUR. He and his sister, Ariana, seemed to have a solid relationship, but according to Jeremy, that isn't the case anymore.
In an interview with Us Weekly in March, Jeremy revealed that he hadn't spoken to his famous sister in months. Jeremy believes their lack of interaction has something to do with his fiancée, Rachael (and no, it isn't because she shares the same name with Rachel Leviss).
"I just want to clarify that I haven't talked to my sister due to me having to stand up for my fiancée."
Jeremy continued, "There's been some small microagressive gestures towards my fiancée, and that's what's led to me not talking to my sister. It's been going on for quite some time. ...But I was put in a position where I choose my sister, or do I choose the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with?"
Despite not speaking to Ariana, Jeremy also shared with the outlet that he still wished his sister well and was happy about all the success she found after Scandoval.

Ariana Madix has been thriving after her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, had an affair with their Vanderpump Rules co-star Rachel Leviss. Not only did she continue to work on the reality TV show for another season, she found herself competing on Season 32 of Dancing With the Stars. Ariana and professional dancer Pasha Pashkov were fan-favorites and came in third that season.
Ariana also made her dreams come true when she made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago earlier this year. Then, the reality TV star was named the newest host of Love Island USA Season 6. The dating series became the No.1 most-watched streaming original series.
With Ariana's brother's latest arrest, it could prove to be detrimental to her already successful career. In fact, with the siblings not speaking to one another for months, Jeremy's latest arrest could have sealed the deal on their relationship.
Even Reddit users believed Jeremy speaking to Us Weekly about their strained relationship was extremely insensitive. In a Reddit thread about the two stars not speaking, plenty of people agreed that Jeremy talking about their non-existent relationship should not be blasted in the media.

Jeremy's arrest and possible prison stint is not a good look for Ariana. However, no one likes to see family members feuding and, hopefully, a resolution can be found between these two reality TV stars.
