Arthur Kaliyev left the New York Rangers’ road trip as he undergoes further evaluation and testing on an upper-body injury.

Kaliyev sustained this apparent upper-body injury on Tuesday night when the Rangers took on the Winnipeg Jets.

The 23-year-old forward will miss at least the next two games, but it’s unclear if he’ll be out long term.

Brett Berard will take Kaliyev’s place in the lineup on Thursday night against the Minnesota Wild.

Since getting claimed off of waivers from the Los Angeles Kings, Kaliyev has recorded three goals, one assist and four points in 14 games with the Rangers.
