Audriana Giudice Opens Up About Her Relationship with Godmother Dina Manzo

Audriana Giudice and her godmother “RHONJ” alum Dina Manzo have drifted apart. During an episode of her sister Gia Giudice’s podcast “Casual Chaos,” Audriana revealed, “We don’t really have a relationship anymore.”

The youngest daughter of Teresa Giudice continued, “We’ll text each other on holidays, I never talk to her, like, consistently.” Audriana, 15, reflected on how her relationship with Manzo has changed over the years, calling it “kind of sad.”

“… we used to have such a good relationship when I was younger, and she would always take me out, and we would have so much fun together, but we don’t have those anymore,” Audriana explained. 

The Reason for the Distance

During her interview with Audriana, Gia was quick to point out that the lack of closeness with “Aunt Dina” does not mean there’s any kind of rift. “… I don’t think anything necessarily happened,” the Next Gen NYC star said, noting the factor of geographical distance. “… it’s just hard because she’s in California …”

Manzo has lived on the west coast for nearly a decade now, having purchased a sprawling Montecito mansion in 2023. “I came out here initially just for a mental break and to get away from it all,” she told Page Six in 2016. “It’s easier to deal with things from 3,000 miles away and once I got here, I was like, ‘I love it here. I don’t really want to go back.’”

Dina Manzo Was Excited to Become a Godmother

Longtime fans of “RHONJ” remember when Teresa was pregnant with Audriana, and her screaming from the delivery room during the episode when her youngest daughter was born. 

It was an incredibly sweet moment when Teresa shared with Manzo that she wanted her to be Audriana’s godmother. “In Italian, they say you’re supposed to pick [a godparent] that you would want your daughter to be like, and I would want her to be just like you,” Teresa explained in the emotional scene.

Manzo was overcome with joy, crying happy tears. “You hear that? You’re gonna be crazy like Aunt Dina,” she told baby Audriana. During a confessional, Manzo explained how much the gesture meant to her and said she and Teresa would “be family forever.” 

During a June 2024 episode of “Watch What Happens Live” Teresa did confirm that she and Manzo were still in touch. “I texted her and she hearted it,” she said simply.
