Austen Kroll’s Birthday Bash Includes Two Unexpected (and Adorable) Southern Charm Guests!

“Souther Charm” star Austen Kroll celebrated his 38th birthday by becoming a cat dad to two furry felines.

“Happy Birthday… to me! Meet Piper and Martini, the newest little stars of ‘SC’ and my [heart]. Sorry in advance to non cat lovers, but my IG stories about to be [fire],” the reality star posted on June 16.

The Instagram carousel shows Kroll holding two tiny kittens, one with tan and brown stripes, and the other one white with gray patches.

One video shows Piper and Martini playing by Kroll’s feet as they playfully nipped his legs. Another shows them lounging together on a cat bed.

“They are so cute!!! Happy Birthday!” a fan replied. Another wrote, “I never trust a man who doesn’t love cats. Welcome to the amazing world of kitten hood. They are adorable congratulations!”

Kroll is Getting Over His Fear of Commitment

Kroll is not just nesting with his two new kittens, but he’s also settling into a life with his girlfriend, Audrey Pratt.

They’re taking things slow, however, and Kroll told E! News in 2024 of a possible engagement, “We’re not putting pressure on something like that so soon. In my opinion, far too early. But we’re just having fun and enjoying each other as much as possible.”

He added, “I’ve been afraid of the big ‘ole ‘C’ word for a long time—the ‘C’ word being commitment, of course.”

“And I think that when you watch a show that you’re on, you’re certainly looking at yourself in the mirror or there’s a big mirror held up in front of your face. And with long talks with my therapist, I realized commitment is exactly what I was ready for upon meeting the right person. And I met the right person and couldn’t ignore it, to be honest,” Kroll said.

The “Southern Charm” star opened up about dating someone who was not in the reality television world.

“It was something that we both spoke about prior to filming this season. I was like, ‘Is this something that you wanna do? I mean, I totally understand if you’re like this world is not for me.’ And she was like, ‘It’s important to you, so I’d be willing to dip in my toes and do things with you,'” he shared.

Pratt Made Her ‘Southern Charm’ Debut in Season 10

“Southern Charm” fans saw a glimpse of Kroll’s relationship with Pratt in season 10. “Coming into the season, I think I’m coming in with like, a really good head space,” he said on “The Exclusive With Sharon Tharp” podcast.

“I am dating a girl who makes me really, really happy. Someone that I just couldn’t like, ignore in my life,” Kroll continued.

He added, “I think she’s a big promoter of my peace, so me being able to come into this season, I feel like, with a very clear head.”
