Ava Tells Alexis She’ll Keep Quiet About Kristina Cutting Ric’s Brakes — for a Steep Price

GH

Brook Lynn is about to tell Dante something when her mom jumps up with random gossip. Dante, though, asks Brook Lynn what she wanted to say. But he’s not too interested, since he’s got to run to meet with Kristina and her dad, so he leaves, promising to text later.

“Really, Ma?!” Lois quizzes her daughter about whether she wants to tell Dante about the baby and Brook Lynn points out that everyone in the house is going to pick up on the tension, and once the Quartermaines start digging, the truth will come out.

GH

She hates this secret, but she’s worried about Lois. They talk about Lois telling her mom and Brook Lynn telling Chase and both understanding why they did it. Lois sits her daughter down and asks if she really thinks she needs to tell everyone about the baby. If so, she has Lois’ full support. No, Brook Lynn says, they can’t go back, so it’s best to keep the past in the past.

Lulu Asks for Cody’s Advice

In the tack house, Lulu tries finding out from Cody if he told Dante anything, but she’s being vague enough that he just demands she spill. He grabs a lollipop and tells her he’s invoking the “code of the lollipop,” which means anything she tells in confidence, he can’t tell Dante. So what is it?

“I’m still in love with him.” She never wanted to divorce Dante, but he went off the rails and couldn’t stay married to him. She tried moving on, but then realized, just before the explosion, that she couldn’t. Four years passed in a coma, but for her, nothing changed when she woke up.

GH

Cody asks if she thinks he still has feelings for her. “I think that Dante loves me, but I don’t think that he’s in love with me.” She asks Cody if she should tell Dante. He’d advise her to not say it — for now. She’s giving him time to heal and showing she cares about him.

This is just temporary, though. Dante needs time. This is all just right now, Cody tells Lulu repeatedly. “I don’t think there will ever be a day that I’m not in love with Dante Falconeri,” Lulu says, smiles and walks out.

Curtis Lays Out Laura’s Boyle Problem

Curtis meets with Laura just as Jenz rushes over, noting how hard it is to make an appointment with her office. Curtis shoos him off, then jumps into their problem: Ezra Boyle has it out for her, Curtis says, and he can’t protect her much longer.

GH

Boyle’s trying to publish an editorial about Laura and Sonny being friends and how she’s pulling strings to protect Sonny. Laura scoffs at how ridiculous that is.

She won’t be distancing herself from Sonny. They share a grandchild and have never hidden their friendship before. She doesn’t care about Boyle, just the people of Port Charles. If they decide, they can vote her out. Curtis suggests putting the Esplanade location up for a vote and letting the people decide. Remove herself from the equation.

Marco Clashes With Natalia

Marco orders water at the metro, locking eyes with Sidwell across the room. Natalia shows up just as Jenz leaves, who chides her to show some tact with Marco. Marco puts his phone down as she sits and they awkwardly check in on how they’re doing.

Marco cuts his mom off, saying he just wanted to share some news. He thinks he may get a job with Diane and Alexis and stick around town. “Practicing law,” she notes. “What a tragic waste of your talent.”

Natalia lays into him about how he could be on a tour with Blaze, but he trashed his career to spite her and be a lawyer. “Damn right, I was angry.” He tried coming out and she shoved him in the closet.

He asks when she last spoke to his sister, and Natalia says something about her being busy on tour. Natalia claims Marco’s dad manipulated him into going to law school and being one of his flunkies instead of embracing his talent. But it was also her fault.

She insists she wants him to be happy, but Marco says only on her terms, not his. Natalia tells Marco he would see how much she changed if he gave her a chance. They’re still having the “same, tired conversation,” he says, so clearly not. He storms off and Natalia orders a drink.

Jenz Offers Jordan a Deal

Jordan thanks Isaiah for lunch and tells him whenever he’s free to cook, she’ll make time. “Noted, but I do have a question: How much longer do we need to keep hiding?” The situation with Sidwell hasn’t changed, Jordan notes. OK, but how long do they have to keep hiding? Jordan doesn’t know. Just then, she gets a text from Jenz asking to see her.

GH

A short time later, Sidwell shows up, makes some comments on her small apartment and points out that being a civil servant doesn’t pay well. He wants her to work for him. She can be his right hand woman to smooth the way for him.

She’s got an in with all the big players in town and he can help her achieve her aspirations beyond the mayor’s office. “I’m not interested,” Jordan tells him. Sidwell’s disappointed, but understands. The offer isn’t going anywhere, though, he says as he leaves.

Sonny and Kristina Fill Dante In

Sonny and Kristina meet for lunch, where she tells him she’s got a confession he won’t like. She invited Dante so Sonny can tell him about his heart issue. Dante shows up a short time later and they talk a bit about Ric pulling through and being happy for Molly. Sonny suggests maybe it’ll scare Ric straight.

GH

“Yeah,” Kristina nods. Sonny then moves into his “heart stuff,” and Kristina prompts him to say their dad needs heart surgery. “Whoah.” Dante thanks him for telling and is happy to know, but asks why now. “Ava knows,” Sonny says.

He lays out how she found out. Now, Sonny has to keep a step ahead of Ava. He’s got surgery planned for a month from now and he’d love to have his fam— Laura pops in to say she’ll be there for Rocco’s debate tournament, then pops back out. Dante says that all that matters is Sonny takes care of himself and is here for a long time for all the family.

Ava Threatens Alexis

Alexis, meanwhile, tells Ava to get out of her office, which is when Ava starts suggesting that Kristina’s in a lot of trouble. “What are you alleging?” Alexis demands. Alleging? No, Ava says she can prove Kristina tried to kill her.

GH

Ava tells Alexis about Kristina’s threats and how she and Ric drive almost identical cars and Ric parked in her parking spot. His brakes failed not long after Kristina’s blow up. Alexis asks for proof, and Ava pulls out her phone and shows her camera footage of Kristina in the garage, grabbing wire cutters.

“What to do? What to do?” Go to the police or come to an understanding? “How much?” Alexis demands. Ava says millions. Time to embezzle funds from the Cassadine estate. Alexis claims she can’t and points out there was nothing on that recording that shows Kristina cutting the wires.

Ava says she has Ric’s car and Alexis congratulates her on breaking the chain of evidence. She taunts Ava to go to the police, asking if they’ll buy her theory. Maybe not, Ava admits, but she’ll just point the cops in the right direction. Once they tip off the DA’s office, how will Molly react when she learns Kristina nearly killed her father?

Lucas and Marco Reconnect

Lucas checks his texts, but Marco hasn’t responded to his offer to show him around town some more. He smiles ruefully, then Isaiah shows up to ask if he can take his ER shift tomorrow night. Lucas asks for some more time, hoping Marco will get back to him. Isaiah assures him no rush and walks off, just as Marco walks in and smiles at Lucas.

Lucas confides in Liz GH

He asks if Lucas’ offer still stands. He’s moving to Port Charles. They decide to celebrate Marco’s job offer.

In the Show’s Final Moments

Brook Lynn tells Lois she’s grateful for her, and all her help. Lois says she loves Brook Lynn and promises she’ll always come home.

GH

Isaiah and Jordan check in on the phone, and she says Sidwell offered her a job. He hopes she’s done trying to get dirt on the guy. No, Jordan tells him. “I’ve got Sidwell right where I want him.”

Alexis tells Ava that if she wants to go to the police, she’s free to do that. But Ava could be the one who ended up under scrutiny. Maybe Alexis is right, Ava concedes. Maybe she should just go to Molly. Alexis has until 9 AM to decide what she’s willing to do to protect her daughter’s future.

GH

Curtis wants what Laura does, but it’s become too thorny an issue. Laura points out it’s not just a vote on the Esplanade’s location, but a vote on Sonny Corinthos. As Sonny’s heading out, he spots Natalia at the bar and heads over. “What were you doing with Jenz Sidwell?” he asks.

On the next General Hospital, Jordan tries convincing Laura to go with her plan, Natalia confesses to Sonny and Willow recieves advice from Nina.
