They blanked the Dallas Stars, 4-0, to tie up the series and force another game. They are scheduled to play at 7:30 Mountain Time on Monday night.

It’s hard to win hockey games when you don’t score goals.

Brock Nelson woke up and delivered a two-assist effort. He contributed to Gabriel Landeskog’s first goal in three years, as well as Samuel Girard’s first tally of the playoffs.

He finished the game with 14:44 of ice time and recorded three shots.

Nathan MacKinnon added another goal to his playoff point total. He’s up to five points, four of which are goals. In addition to his powerplay goal, he threw four shots on net, and threw three hits, while playing 19:37.

Logan O’Connor also continued his great postseason production. He recorded another goal to bring his point total to five in four games. He’s doing a lot with very little, averaging 14:09 this playoffs.

As mentioned above, Landeskog scored his first goal in three years. He also assisted on Girard’s goal and played 14:37.

It’s a positive sign to see more of the big dogs rise to the occasion, but more will have to do so to send the Stars to the fairways early.
