Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) truly wanted to reunite with Hope (Annika Noelle). Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) tried to get Carter to try a relationship with her, but he set his sights on Hope and let Daphne down somewhat easily.
Carter overheard Hope talking to Liam (Scott Clifton), which nearly made him give up on his hopes of a reunion. However, Hope told Carter the truth that Liam is dying, and absolutely understood the context around what he overheard. These two reunited, and Carter wanted to make it official.
Interestingly, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope made up after realizing life was too short to feud all the time. After all, they’re both mothers to little girls who will soon lose their dad.
Liam recently got some bad news about the remaining life he has to live. He just wants to spend the time he has left with his loved ones. That includes Steffy and Finn (Tanner Novlan) and their kids and Hope and her kids.
