B&B Recap May 12: Liam & Luna Lean on Their Dads — Hope & Steffy Call a Truce, But for How Long?

Father’s Love

Yesterday was Mother’s Day for most people. Yet, some of our favorite characters have their fathers on their minds. Liam (Scott Clifton) met up with Bill (Don Diamont) at Il Giardino. He wanted to make amends. But there was just one problem. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) interrupted their meetup to thank Bill for pardoning Luna (Lisa Yamada).

This was still baffling for Liam. As for Bill, he didn’t want to speak of it again. The last thing he wanted to hear was Luna’s name. That’s what drove a wedge between him and Liam. Bill told Sheila that Luna needs to show accountability. But Sheila wants the world to know that Luna is a changed woman, much like her. She finally left them alone.

That’s when Liam and Bill agreed to move on from that tense fight they had and the harsh words that were said. Liam wanted to share some things from the bottom of his heart. He’s proud of his father and the man he’s become because of him. Bill was touched by Liam’s words. For the first time, he felt speechless. But will Liam ever tell his father that he’s dying?

Meanwhile, Luna is trying to lean on her father as well. She showed up at the cliffhouse, to the surprise of Finn (Tanner Novlan). He told her that she couldn’t be around him anymore. Luna reminded Finn that this was Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wish, not his. Finn argued that he was devoted to his family.

He already has the family that he needs. Finn gave Luna one final warning about dropping in on him like this. But will Luna listen? Or will she keep trying to have a relationship with her father? Also, will Finn regret not getting to know his daughter? Here are all the reasons why Finn should (and shouldn’t) forgive Luna.

Best Frenemies

Meanwhile, Steffy told Hope (Annika Noelle) that Liam was dying. Hope was thankful to Steffy for sharing this with her. It was touching to see them hug and get along. But will it last for long? The reason they feuded for years was because of their shared feelings for Liam.

Steffy understood that they didn’t always get along, especially when it came to Forrester Creations. However, she could no longer deny that Hope was a huge part of her life. Plus, Liam and Hope also share a daughter together. Steffy and Hope agreed to come together for the sake of their kids. They even pinky swore on it. Will this last for long, especially since Hope is reconsidering getting back with Liam?
