Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) believes that her destiny is Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Of course, Nick’s (Jack Wagner) return to Los Angeles might make her think again. After all, they kissed almost instantly, and it might have brought a bit of their magic back for Brooke.
Certainly, Nick seems interested in breaking Brooke out of her bad habits with Ridge. That might make Brooke’s family, like Hope (Annika Noelle) and Katie (Heather Tom), happy. At least for a bit.

As for Hope, she and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) are engaged. For a while, they broke up after Carter had second thoughts and gave Forrester Creations back to the Forresters. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) convinced her friend Daphne (Murielle Hillaire) to come to Los Angeles to seduce Carter.
It nearly worked, but Carter remained hung up on Hope. For a while, Hope wasn’t willing to reconcile. However, Liam’s (Scott Clifton) illness got her to reconsider, and it even led to a reconciliation between Hope and Steffy. Now, Hope is back at work at FC as she and Carter plan their wedding.
