‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers suggest that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) will soon go into labor. Spoilers indicate that by the end of the week, Sophia and Tate Black (Leo Howard) will be preparing to welcome their new baby into the world.
Fans can expect Sophia to go into labor during graduation, which will cause Tate to panic. We also know that Sophia and Tate aren’t ready to be parents. However, their first attempt at finding their child a stable, loving family was thwarted.
Johnny DiMera and Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) were set to adopt their baby, but Johnny pulled a 180 after he learned the unfortunate story of how he was conceived.
Johnny’s father, EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel), raped his mother, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeny). Now, Johnny feels that he’s not worthy of being a father.
When Johnny told Tate and Sophia that he had changed his mind about adopting their baby, Tate punched his first cousin. He was counting on Johnny and Chanel to provide a loving and stable home for his child.
That being said, Sophia will soon give birth, and perhaps Chanel can convince her husband that he’d be a wonderful parent and that the circumstances surrounding his conception were not his fault.
It would be heartwarming to see Chanel achieve her dream of becoming a mother. Chanel has wanted to be a mother for years.
Unfortunately, she and Johnny had to face the fact that due to her miscarriage, the chances of Chanel carrying a baby to term are slim to none. It would make sense for Chanel and Johnny to adopt Tate and Sophia’s child.
Another potential outcome could be that she may lose the baby, which would be incredibly sad and tragic. Or, at the very least, there could be some complications for their little one.
Anything could happen in that delivery room, and there may be some terrifying moments ahead for the teens. It’s not hard to imagine Tate and Sophia bonding over their mutual fear, anxiety, and hope for their baby to survive if it comes to that.
This could result in Sophia’s maternal instincts kicking in and her trying to convince Tate that if their baby lives, it would be a miracle and a sign from above, indicating that they should keep their child and raise them together.
This would undoubtedly leave Tate very conflicted as, deep down, he’s still in love with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). He is holding out hope that they may find their way back to each other once the baby is born and he and Sophia find the right parents.
We also haven’t ruled out that the soap may throw a paternity curveball. Perhaps Tate isn’t really the father after all.
Fans have speculated that Sophia and Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) may have had an off-screen one-night stand.
Aaron’s return to the canvas could signal a massive paternal twist that would change everything. Regardless, Tate will be there to support Sophia throughout all the baby drama, and we definitely hope their child survives.
