The former Bachelorette, Gabby Windey, 33, started a trend that many people copy. But some fans just don’t see anything funny about it, so they mocked her. She seems like an extremely amusing person to some ABC fans. Perhaps that’s why when she came out, she told the world that she hooked up with comedian Robby Hoffman.
Gabby Windey Makes ABC Fans Laugh
Bachelor Nation fans either like Erich Schwer’s ex from The Bachelor, or they seem indifferent to her. And, it might be related to her sense of humor. Certainly, it seems as if the younger fans appreciate her humor. During her scenes on The Bachelorette, a lot of people claimed that she made them laugh out loud.
Gabby Windey might be able to become a stand-up comedian one day because so many people like her humor. Maybe one day she can join Robby in the theater. In the meantime, lots of people just enjoy her on TikTok where she amuses some people enough to set a trend.
Bachelorette Star Sets A trend, Gets Mocked
On Reddit, a Bachelorette fan shared a video about the ABS star repeatedly saying the word “BLURRR.” In their caption, they mentioned that she’d started a trend. However, in the comments, few people got it. Maybe it’s an age thing despite the sub’s average membership being younger than she is.
The OP said about Gabby Windey:
“Just got my nails done… and they’re BLURRR” istg I’ve seen so many tiktoks of girls using this sound from Gabby Windey haha.

In the discussion, plenty of ABC fans shook their heads at as they didn’t get the ABC star’s humor. Not because she isn’t funny but because they just don’t get it at all. Here are some reactions:
- She had to have been high on this right?
- I just don’t get Gabby’s appeal 🤷♀️ She talks like she’s actively trying to sound dumb. If that’s her natural speaking voice, I’m sorry, but it’s just grating.
- No hate, but it’s just like.. not funny. Inauthentic. Like she tries to dance all weird and silly acting like she’s a bad dancer but it’s like you were on dwts? Alll of her tik toks are like that too, like using a baby voice. Not one sounds serious lol and people think it’s HILARIOUS. I’m like, how is this funny at all lol.
- I had never heard this before or seen it if it was a video, it took me until the fourth one to realize that they were saying blue. I thought blur was a slag word I didn’t know and then noticed the consistent manicure color, my daughter is right that I am embarrassing 🤣
- Based on a census of this sub that was done a couple years ago, I think the median age is 31. So yeah, there’s probably a good chunk that just aren’t on TikTok and don’t get the vibe/trends/humor.
