“Bad Look” Saints – Kellen Moore Era Already Off To Tough Start (Report)

   

The New Orleans Saints made the big decision to move on from Dennis Allen during the 2024 season.  Allen had been the head coach in New Orleans since 2022 and posted an 18-25 career record with the team.

Following the season, the Saints decided to bring in Kellen Moore as their new head coach.  The former Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive coordinator will immediately have high expectations.

However, the very first press conference had a blunder.

New Orleans Saints announced Moore as their next head coach Thursday morning. Following a Super Bowl win with the Philadelphia Eagles as offensive coordinator, he has taken on a new challenge:

A news conference was held where Moore spoke about his excitement about joining the team. He outlined how he plans to get the Saints back into the NFL playoffs.

Before we got there, a moment of confusion came from the Saints owner.

Owner Gayle Benson botched the coach’s introduction with the team when she announced “Ellen Moore” as the new head coach:

“Saints new head coach Ellen Moore”
