Dianne Buswell has shared a slight bit of sadness around her partnership with Chris McCausland as she was recently left to go 'solo' without him.
The Strictly Come Dancing winners have remained good friends away from the ballroom, where they were crowned champions of the BBC One dance contest back in December.
But it was more recently that Dianne was once again seen celebrating her joint success with comedian Chris, who was Strictly's first-ever blind contestant, months after winning the hit dance show's 2024 series.
Earlier this month, they won the memorable moment award, which is voted for by the public, at the 2025 Bafta Television Awards with P&O Cruises.
The winning couple's Waltz to the Liverpool anthem You'll Never Walk Alone, which they reprised in the Strictly final, was the performance that earned them the nomination.
Their emotive performance, which they recreated during the Strictly final back in December, saw Dianne leave the ballroom floor so her partner could dance on his own, before she returned to spinning in his arms moments later in tear-jerking scenes.
As Dianne took to the stage to collect the award, she was without Chris, who was committed to his stand-up tour, Yonks!, which he had already delayed to take part in Strictly in the first place.

While accepting their award, Dianne mentioned that Chris had prepped her with something to say on his behalf just in case they won as she said: "Chris did have something he wanted me to say, and that is ‘After 22 years in comedy, he wins a Bafta for dancing,"' before joking that he said it "hurts"
Now, Dianne has shared a new snap from the night of her, looking fabulous in a sparkling blue gown that paid homage to the outfits worn during their award-winning performance, alongside their blue glass award.
Alongside the post, the dancer wrote: "Love this pic so much taken by @rachell_photo at the @bafta the only thing that makes me sad is Chris is not in it [blue heart emoji]!."
She added: "But don’t worry I will keep reminding him daily that he won a bafta for DANCING [crying laughing emoji] @chrismccauslandcomedy."
When one fan echoed: "It also makes me sad that Chris isn’t in it, hopefully whenever you two meet up again you can do your own photoshoot together," Dianne replied: "Yessss 100 percent [blue heart emoji]. How perfect if he was there with me."
Meanwhile, others were keen to gush over the gorgeous snap. @buswellblossom said: "I think this is my fav pic from the night! Gorg!!" @mariamedcalf wrote: "Beautiful. And so happy for you. Well deserved BAFTA. Huge Congrats and so much love Dianne."
@tamsin_niven shared: "Out of any colour they could’ve chosen for the bafta and they went with the blue, it was for sure an absolute sign! forever grateful to the producers who made the decision to partner you both. you deserve every bit of praise and recognition."
@strictly_jaljaz commented: "So so pretty." @willike1971 posted: "Stunning pic congratulations to you both." @susie_red4 added: "Absolutely stunning in that dress Dianne. I hope you can get a photo with Chris to celebrate."
