The Australian dancer won the 2024 series with Chris McCausland

Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell has been supported by her fans as she opened up about her "panic" moment. The professional dancer triumphed on the hit BBC show last year when she took Scouse comedian Chris McCausland to the final. Chris became the first blind contestant to take part in the competition and lift the iconic glitterball trophy.
The pair have stayed busy in their own professional endeavours since their stint on Strictly, with Chris on his Yonks! comedy tour and Dianne has recently embarked on her own UK tour alongside fellow professional dancer Vito Coppola.
The dynamic new dance show is called 'Red Hot and Ready', and builds on the performance legacy from 'Burn the Floor', which is a high-energy theatrical dance show that reimagines ballroom and Latin dance styles. The show arrived up north last week as Dianne and Vito took to the stage in Llandudno.

While on tour, Dianne has still taken the time to co-present her "Winning Isn't Everything" podcast alongside Chris. The nation fell in love with the pairing on Strictly, and they have seen remarkable success from their weekly podcast.
In a recent episode, Chris asked Dianne: "Where are you travelling Tuesday, Di?" She replied: "Londondo." Chris soon realised that Dianne was attempting to say Llandudno, a town in Wales.
The podcast episode saw Chris try to teach Dianne how to say Llandudno, but the Australian dancer couldn't quite grasp the pronunciation of the Welsh town.
After Dianne performed at the venue, fans in the audience couldn't help but notice that Dianne had avoided saying the name of the town throughout the live show.
A podcast listener wrote in to say she was at the show and "thought it was very funny how you never once referenced where you were."
Dianne agreed she did try to avoid having to say Llandudno while addressing the audience, but she recalled one moment which made her "panic".
She explained: "Our musical director, he is from Llandudno and he said to me 'Do you mind doing something a bit different tonight with me being in my home town?' and I was like oh no, oh no, I can't say 'Llandudno is his home' because I don't know how to say it."
The dancer continued: "I panicked- I absolutely panicked because I didn't think about it until I was actually in the moment." Dianne told listeners she had to say phrases like "this place" and "right here" to try and avoid saying Llandudno, which Chris thought was hilarious.
Taking to the comments on social media, one fan said: "Omg loved this" and another wrote: "Hahahahah it was when you didn’t know how to say Llandudno the other day bless you xxx."
A third wrote: "Oh bless you both" with laughing emojis while a fourth added: "As a Welshie….THIS IS ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL! I love it!"
Another fan said: "Another brilliant episode, love you both [red love heart emoji] we were in the Llandudno audience and you were amazing."
