Bachelor Nation fans know that Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs found love on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since then, the two have moved in together in San Diego, gotten married, and welcomed their first child together — a baby boy named Benson, or “Benny.”
Recently, Benny underwent a medical procedure, and Becca took to Instagram to candidly share about their experience.
In a new video, Becca walked through the day with timestamps, highlighting each important moment.
She shared, “Benny finally got his ear tubes! I want to share this video in hopes that it helps ease any parents’ mind who also need to get this procedure done for their little one. This one was so quick and pretty much painless for him.”
Becca revealed why they decided to get ear tubes for Benny, as well as how long the whole procedure took.
She said, “He’s been living with constant double ear infections since November, so nothing can be worse than that, right? We were at the hospital for less than three hours, but the procedure itself only took about 10 minutes.”
The Bachelor Nation star then opened up and also revealed how the whole experience affected her as a mom.
She admitted, “It was honestly harder on me than it was Benny because seeing him in that hospital gown broke my heart. The longest part was waiting for Benny to wake up from the anesthesia, and this part did cause some tears and disorientation, but overall he just slept it off. Those snuggles were 10 out of 10, though.”
By the end of the video, Becca reassured followers that after a good long nap, Benny was back to his normal self and was running around the backyard.
Followers filled the comments with their own stories of similar experiences, expressing how much they appreciated Becca’s story as some people are getting ear tubes for their own kids as well.
