Ben Affleck subtly shot down divorce rumors amid mounting speculation about his marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
The Oscar winner, 51, referred to the “Jenny From the Block” singer, 54, as his “wife” during the Season 4 premiere of Kevin Hart’s Peacock series, “Hart to Heart,” Thursday.
While talking about the pair’s life in the spotlight, Affleck admitted he does not like “attention” — a big reason why he always looks grumpy in paparazzi pictures.
“That’s why people see me, and they’re like, ‘Why’s this dude always mad?’ Because somebody has their camera and sticks it in my face,” he explained.
“I don’t mind you taking my picture at a club or a premiere, with my wife, I don’t give a f—k. Go ahead. Knock yourself out. I don’t notice you,” he added.
However, when it comes to his children — Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 — Affleck said that’s an entirely “different thing.”
Despite being an A-list actor, the “Good Will Hunting” star said his level of fame drastically changed after he and Lopez rekindled their romance in 2021.
Affleck explained that his wife has a “f—kin’ bananas” level of fame and that “she really represents something important to people.”
“[To me,] people are like, ‘Hey, I like your movie,’ and then they’re like ‘AAAHHHH! J.LO!’” he yelled. “It’s amazing, you know what I mean?”
It is unclear when the episode was filmed.
The couple, who wed in July 2022, sparked split rumors in May after news broke that they were living separately.
A few weeks later, the pair put their $60 million Beverly Hills, Calif., mega-mansion up for sale — one year after they purchased the 38,000-square-foot home in all cash.
While neither Affleck nor Lopez has directly addressed the speculation, the “Marry Me” star brushed off the rumors on Father’s Day, sharing a sweet post honoring her husband.
“Our hero ,” the “On the Floor” hitmaker wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a black-and-white photo of Affleck. “Happy Father’s Day.”
In addition to her husband’s children, Lopez is a mom to 16-year-old twins Max and Emme.
Although they have been putting on a united front, a source previously told Page Six that the “Air” actor has “come to his senses” about their ill-fated marriage.
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” our insider shared last month.
“He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
