Bengals bolster QB room with roster move before NFL draft

Right after news of the Cincinnati Bengals visiting with an interesting quarterback prospect in the 2025 NFL draft, the Bengals went out and signed one before the big event.

Wednesday, the Bengals announced the signing of Logan Woodside, bringing back home one of the team's seventh-round picks from the 2018 draft.

Woodside spent the summer of his rookie year with the Bengals before bouncing around the NFL with a few different teams. He returned to Cincinnati in April of 2024 and spent most of the year on the practice squad, briefly joining the active roster late in the season.

The Bengals were always going to add more arms ahead of spring activities and training camp during the summer behind Joe Burrow and Jake Browning. Woodside, though predictable, probably won't be the last, either.
